Our Principal and Staff

Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.

Welcome from our Principal

At Kandeer School, our dedicated team is committed to providing a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued, respected and supported. We recognise that our students present with a diverse range of learning and wellbeing needs, and we approach our work with care, consistency and high expectations.

We are proud to foster a school community built on positive relationships, trust and a strong sense of belonging. We understand that student wellbeing and learning are closely connected, and that students are best able to engage and succeed when they feel safe, connected and supported. For this reason, wellbeing is central to all aspects of our work at Kandeer School.

Guided by our motto, Learning to Grow, our practice is informed by an understanding of the impact of adverse experiences on learning and behaviour. We respond through evidence-based, trauma-informed and inclusive practices that provide predictable, structured and supportive learning environments.

At Kandeer School, we believe every student has the capacity to learn, grow and succeed. We value strong partnerships with families and the wider community and look forward to working together to support positive outcomes for every student.
